Maundy Thursday Dinners

We’ll commemorate Maundy Thursday this year with our traditional dinners in homes. Sign up today. This is a great way to join the life of the church and remember Jesus’ command to serve and love each other.

Good Friday Reflection

As we move closer to Passion Week, remember our Good Friday Candlelight Reflection from 5-6:30pm. Stop on your way home from work, or after dinner. This is the night that we commemorate Jesus’ willing sacrifice of himself on the cross. It’s a sacred night that deserves our attention and reverence. Your time here that night is self-paced and intended to be sober. Communion will be available along with a looping slide show.

Stained Glass Window Project

We are all looking forward to starting on our own windows for the sanctuary very soon. We will continue meeting at the Gawne’s house this week. It is not too late to join us weekly on Tuesday nights at 7 p.m. to participate in this artful expression of worship! No experience is needed, and you don’t have to come every week to be a part of things.

This Week in the Word – Strong & Surrendered (John 18)

We often equate strength with willpower and independence. But in this chapter Jesus shows us just the opposite. His strength is based in surrender to his Father’s will and acceptance of his situation, however difficult. Peter on the other hand is forceful, but also very weak and spineless. He doesn’t have the gravitas of a surrendered soul who has accepted suffering as from his Father’s hand.

Donate Online

If you wish to donate to the ministry at Tinkers Creek, click the button below. This is a secure transaction and will be processed the same way we receive donations in person.  As always, giving at Tinkers Creek is received anonymously so that it remains a matter between you and God.  We use an outside bookeeper to record giving so that no one inside the church knows what is given.

Places to Serve at Tinkers Creek

If you’re new to our church and are looking for ways to plug in, start by attending an Adult Bible Fellowship during the 9am hour, or by serving others in the body with your gifts and experience.

ABFs @ 9:15 am

Each Sunday we offer an adult Bible discussion group starting at 9:15. This time is dedicated to studying God's word in a more intimate setting. We look to use that personal application in our everyday lives to glorify God and love others.

YAC This Week

This week we’ll be passing out door hanger Easter invitations in the neighborhoods around us. Meet at church at 4pm.
